Crazy Taxi hangs on second screen

Sorry if I sound like an idiot, but I can't seem to get PCSX2 to run this game. It will load properly, but when it gets to the SEGA logo screen it just hangs.

Specs:

OS: Microsoft Windows XP Professional
Processor: Intel Core 2 (6600 @ 2.40GHz)
Memory: 1022MB RAM
Display: GeForce 7300 LE (512MB)

Config:

GSdx 890 (MSVC 15.00, SSE2) 0.1.14
P.E.Op.S. SPU2 1.9.0
Linuz Iso CDVD 0.8.0
DEV9null Driver 0.3.0

I have the exact same problem. I'm trying to run the actual disc in my CD/DVD drive. Is there a problem running cd games with pcsx2?

Is it the PAL or the US version of the Game? The compatibility list say that The US version only shows the Intro of the game. In your case the SEGA logo.

Need to enable patches in the latest beta but the game is unplayable due to ground textures going missing after a while anyway.
