D1GP Slowing down

Hi guys,

I've just downloaded D1GP and it worked fine until I got a black screen when going into a race, but somehow I managed to fix it by changing IE clamps to full.

Now the problem is that every few seconds the game goes into slow motion, and so does the in race music, basically the whole game goes into slow motion and then after a few seconds it's normal again and it continues with that cycle.

Any idea what the problem may be?

I'm trying it on my laptop before my pc, but I'm sure it has specs which are good enough : i7-2670 @ 2.20 GHz, 6GB RAM and an nVidia GT525M graphics card
