DBZ Budokai tenkaichi 3:postprocessing:on
#1
I hope this info can help fixing postprocessing effect:
emulator: PCSX2 0.9.7.2948
video plugin: GSDX 2930 sse2
postprocessing=on
UserHacks_AlphaHack=0
UserHacks_HalfPixelOffset=0
UserHacks_SkipDraw=0
DX10 PAL : [Image: dx10pal.th.png]
DX10 NTSC:[Image: dx10ntsc.th.png]
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
emulator: Dolphin r5445
video plugin: D3D9
D3D9 settings:Link
Game: DBZ budokai tenkaichi 3 PAL and NTSC
Now while the game is running when changing at "Enable EFB copy" alternatively "RAM" ,"TEXTURE"(bug transparent wall appears) and endining with "TEXTURE" and apply [Image: texture2l.th.png]

you get: [Image: switchendtext6.th.png] lines around the character are there

and if you end with RAM and apply[Image: ram3.th.png] you get:[Image: switchendram8.th.png] lines around the character disapear.
This is a comparison between emulators,you can see that the bug transparent wall can be reproduced.
Maybe making that "Enable EFB copy to TEXTURE" or something like that for gsdx it will fix the lines around the characters

********************************************************************************

Now back at pcsx2:
Game : DBZBT3 PAL
UserHacks_AlphaHack=1
UserHacks_HalfPixelOffset=1
UserHacks_SkipDraw=1
Select dx9
Wall fixed.
Motion blur working.
Lines around character missing.
Ghosting appears.

Game : DBZBT3 NTSC
UserHacks_AlphaHack=1
UserHacks_HalfPixelOffset=1
UserHacks_SkipDraw=1
Select dx9
Wall fixed.
Motion blur working.
Lines around character are ugly but there.
Ghosting appears.

Do you realize that Dolphin is a GameCube emulator and PCSX2 a PS2 emulator? Meaning these 2 have almost nothing in common?

Yes,but the maybe video plugins have something in common and some dev can look in dolphin plugin and look at Enable EFB copy to TEXTURE.

To fix PAL flicker postprocessing must be on.
Found a way to fix ghosting(PAL and NTSC) use "Scaling X2":
DX10[Image: dx10scale21024pal.th.png]
DX9 [Image: dx9scale21024pal.th.png]

thats why they have putted scaling so if u want to increase the resolution u can use scaling and by that way things like the ghost image in many games to be solved
