I have wondering why is DX10 better than DX9.Does it give a better graphics or gives more speed(for my PC DX10 runs slower than DX9).And also-If I have unchecked Logaritmic Z,Texture Filtering and the others, why in gameplay is like I have checked them?

For the majority of games (in PCSX2) DX10 should work better than DX9. More speed and normally less bugs. So if you can (if your graphic card supports it) go for it Tongue

Long story short DX10 supports Pixel Shader 4.0 which obviously could not be integrated into DX9Laugh Also U gotta have a compatible video card to be able to use it.Do you even have a graphics card or working with built-in?If you do please name it's manufacturer & give its model no. so I can check online for support though U can probably do that yourselfSmile

He can check it himself here

Hint - you must have atleast ATI HD 2900 XT or Nvidia 8800 GTS
these are the lowest models that support DX10
I'm inactive on this, dedicating most of my time to osu!

With Directx 10,most game can run fullspeed without speedhack and more accurate graphic which directx 9 can't do
