Dance Summit 2001 Hang issue
#1
When i start a game of Dance Summit 2001(Bust a Move 3), a few seconds into the first stage the game will hang and the music will continue. It will stick there frozen. I have turned off MTVU and still the game will hang in the first seconds of the first stage. I am using Dx11. Any help is appreciated. Also, maybe someone could tell me why this game lags severely when the Internal Resolution is high and AA is on? I can play other games no problem on 1920x1080, but Dance Summit lags horribly.
Thanks in advance!

Lag possibly occurs if your rig cant handle it or the game is little intesive . And about hang its better to post the emu log (after the game load) cause it help us to solve your issue.

I don't think that my rig can't handle a game created in 2000 since i can run games like Crash Twinsanity, Parappa the Rapper 2, and Spyro a Hero's Tail perfectly in the same settings. Here is my log:

the hanging of game is not related with bios . Did you try to run the game with the orignal disk .

No, but usually, the disc makes the game even slower due to loading. I always use ISOs to reduce those loading times. Might i also add that the game freezes in the exact same spot every time - During a long chain of button commands slightly after it's halfway done displaying them.

I recommend you to try with disk too and see that game is still hang in the same place! if the not hang with the disk then the iso is problem.(re ripping the iso will fixed the problem).

Most likely the ISO is not the problem because every stage will freeze once the long string gets through. I will try to redump the ISO, but I doubt that's the issue, but i could be wrong.

I wonder how a release date can be related to how it is coded Blink ? whatever...
could you please enable the DVD readings in your log ?
are you using fast boot or full boot ?

Sounds like the same behavior as that Spyro game.

It isn't. This game is freezing at the same point in-game whereas Spyro is not loading a file that renders the game.
