Data Execution Prevention Pcsx2 0.9.6
#1
When ever I try to load an iso i geta message saying to help protect your computer Data Execution Prevention has closed pcsx2 0.9.6.exe I've tryed going into system settings and allowing it but it says that I must have it enabled for this application. I looked into it a bit more and i found somthing telling me to ask the people who published it if the had a DEP enabled version or somthing like that?

data execution prevention is enabled by default in windows.
What plugin are you using to load the ISO. do not use third party ISO mounting software like Daemon.

Sometimes FW plugins can cause DEP violations. Make sure the FW plugin is set to FWNull, and see if that helps.

It said error loading C:\.......\FINAL_FANTASY_X.iso

Then it said error opening CDVD plugin

That was using Linuz Iso CDVD 0.8.0.

make sure you don't have an old instance of pcsx2 running in task manager, and also make sure you don't have the iso mounted in some other program while trying to use it with pcsx2. Smile

Where do I do that?

When I configure Fwnull driver 0.4.0 all I get is an option to enable logging.
