Dead or Alive 2 fixed

I would love to see "Dead or Alive 2 fixed" in one of the svn`s and was wondering how long off this dream may be? Im aware that it uses some strange EE cache which is giving the dev`s a headache , but is thee any real possibility that it will be fixed and is thee any headway being made?
Im not trying to hurry the dev`s just asking if its in the cards or not

That`s for the Jap version only, plus i think you also have to run it in interpreter mode with EE cache enabled, slow.
I only have the Pal version of the game , and their is no known fix for this game, even the Jap version wasnt really a fix, more like a workaround
