Def Jam: Fight For New York Cutscene Slowdown
#1
Def Jam: Fight for New York has a slowdown of 5-10 fps during cutscenes, and at random. Seems the game itself runs at 60 (and so far, the game itself is fine) and the cutscenes run at 30; for some reason that's beyond me, the cutscenes are clocking in at 15-20 FPS and it spikes randomly back up to 30. Seems to depend largely on what's on the screen.

Rig specs in signature. Will attach PCSX2 specs.

I'm not a hundred percent sure what that is, but its a 9400F if that is what you're looking for.

It should be noted that I can run almost every single other game in my list at 4k, full speed. The only other game I've had issues with so far is the Tak series, and that turned out to be an emulator issue that he patched for me.

Weird enough like I said, its just the cutscenes. The game itself runs at 60 fps.

Bump? Still lost how to fix this. Even working just stock PS2 doesn't help.
