Did the Mupen64 and PJ64 teams merge?
#1
So, I was checking out some emulation sites, and came across a post that mentioned the release of Mupen64 1.99.4 (link: http://code.google.com/p/mupen64plus/dow...1.99.4.zip) which got me all excited Biggrin However, it was all in vain. I extracted the contents and when I opened it, it had both "PJ64 1.7" and "Mupen64 plus" in the window title. WTF? Are they stealing PJ64's work and calling it their own? Just asking. I'm not trying to troll here, I'm just wondering if the PJ64 team is even aware of this.

They are not collaborating. Gent allowed the Mupen64Plus project to relicense the PJ64 1.7 Official Cheats Database under the GPL.

But the interface/GUI looks awfully close to PJ64. This doesn't look like Mupen64 to me: Why in the he** would the official zip file contain this? I thought the icon/interface was suppose to be purple, not green [Image: thisisnotmupen64.jpg] (anyone who thinks I edited this are grossly mistaken, as I don't know squat about editing without being sloppy)

Which frontend are you using? Mupen64Plus has currently no GUI frontend included. Or perhaps you are using v1.5?
