Digimon world data squad

Hello,
I know that game is old, but I have a problem:
The game works pretty well, but during fights and cutscenes, the audio and video become slow. I already tried changing a lot of options, but no avail.

I have:
dell intel core i7-2670QM [email protected] GHz 2.20GHz
8.00 GB RAM.

NVIDIA GT 540M.

Thanks in advance.

you'll have to tinker with speedhacks, setyour windows power plan to high peformance, keep native resolution, and pray...
your PC is a bit weak for medium/high demanding games under pcsx2, unfortunately.
CPU : AMD Ryzen 7 3800X
Mobo : Asus PRIME B450-PLUS

I did as you said and played with those EE and VU things
. Now my game is faster than normal and when it slows down during battles, it returns to normal speed. Better than nothing, Thanks.

Anyway, what is "windows power plan"?Unsure

it shouldn't be faster than normal as long as you use the frame limiter and don't use frameskip.
about windows power plan : ever seen this window ?

For people having same problem. This is what I did:
-In SpeedHacks: Set those EE and VU things to maximum.
-And as jesalvein said:" Use the frame limiter and don't use frameskip".

Thanks again jesalvein.

ouch.
Expect further crashes with that kind of settings.

I'm not sure why the emulator would be prone to crashing itself by the use of speedhacks, but regardless, it's more likely to cause severe graphical glitches or game-breaking slowdowns than actually crash the emulator.
