Digital Devil saga 2 PAL problem
#1
Hi guys, i followed pcsx2 from the very beginning but this is the first time i write here in the forum.

I have a strange problem:
The game digital devil saga 2 (pal version "on dvd box there's the code SLES-54555") causes random freeze without any happarent reasons.

This is a weird problem because seems to happend at random.
Some specs:
pcsx2 svn 4177
windows Xp sp3
no speedhacks.
The same problem still exist happends using the original dvd or my backup copy iso (no differences at all, still freeze at random).

Somebody have any clue?

I'm replay it and logging the console right about now.

svn versions are partially supported in fact...
this game may have been broken in that version.
Making a proper bug report could help the devs, though...

here's the last strings in the log console:

padman: *** VBLANK OVERLAP ***

how can i make a proper bug report to devs? directly from the google code page in "issues" page?

also there's a little problem with geometry: the "interactive" objects are visibile through walls (chest and lights)

Try enabling the "EE timing hack" gamefix, also try setting the PAL framerate in the GS settings tab to 59.94 (only for this game). As mentioned before is better if you try it with the latest beta instead of a SVN build to rule out other possible problems since.
