Thanks, the DirectX 9 worked, but when I tried running the game it brought up a black screen form, and then it starts looping in the background "CDVD READ ERROR, sector=161415".
I tried PrintScreening it, but it wouldn't work for some reason.

try another cdvd plugin, running the game as an iso file with linuziso should always be the most compatible and fastest choice. which game are you trying to run btw?

I'm trying to run Kingdom Hearts (one). I just put the disk into my DVD drive (D: ). Should it be somewhere else?

What is Linuziso?

it's one of the cdvd plugins, it enables you to directly load an iso on your hdd as a game disc. just copy the content of your game disc onto your hdd with a tool like imgburn or alcohol 120% and set your cdvd plugin in your pcsx2 configuration to linuziso. start the emulation, an open-file-dialog should pop up, select the iso file you made and it should work.

Alright.
Uh, where can I get Linuziso? I've found an Imgburn download and I'm not sure about how to go on with this process(I've never done this before).

Linuz should be included with the PCSX2 install

Alright, I was reading the guide and I'm switching the Cdvd rom to Linuz, but do I have to use ImgBurn on the disk first?

you should already have linuziso, it's one of the standard plugins. in imgburn select "create image file from disc", select under "source" the optical drive with the game disc inside and choose a destination folder and name for the iso file under "destination". now click on the "disc to file"-icon and wait until the program reports the iso file as successfully written (hopefully without any read errors). after that open the pcsx2 plugin configuration, select "linuziso" as cdvd plugin and open it's settings with "configure...". point it to your iso file with the button "select iso", close the config windows and start the emulation.

Wait, is ImgBurn my Iso? Or is my Iso the file I just created?

I'm not very good at this.
