Display Driver Stopped Responding and Recovered
#11
I recalled something this morning. These problems didn't start occurring till I switched over to 64-bit Windows 7. I was previously on 32-bit because I didn't have a huge amount of RAM. I obtained a large amount (16 GB) recently (within the past few months) and made the switch to 64-bit. I think it was then, that I noticed, TDRs started to occur.

Hmm...It seems to be set at that level by default.

did you load the XMP profile (or is this a amd platform)

Nope. It's okay, though. I've reverted to using DX9 HW Mode and it seems to suit me just fine. I do find it odd that DX11 stopped functioning properly, but at least, DX9 still works.

I had a problem too. I tried to play gt4 (gran turismo 4) on pcsx2. It worked fast but when loading a cars model the game was running really slow. But when I entered the race, my computer instantly crashed, showing a blue screen. and I needed to restart it.

My pc specs:

operating System =  Microsoft Windows 7  Service Pack 1 (build 7601), 64-bit
Physical RAM    =  3995 MB
CPU name        =  Intel® Core™2 Duo CPU    E7500  @ 2.93GHz
Vendor/Model    =  GenuineIntel (stepping 0A)
CPU speed        =  2.925 ghz (2 logical threads)
x86 Type        =  Standard OEM
