Does PCSX2 utilize SLI
#1
As title, just wondering does it impact performance of PCSX2 ?
Cause nvidia stated SLI will be triggered if is using a D3D or openGL program and SLI will kick in.
But seems like some pc games does not support SLI as well
I can't tell the difference now cause one of my card is in RMA

Thanks in advance

Pcsx2 does not use SLI, so there wont be any performance difference.

I see so what if i upgrade from 2x9600GT to something like GTX260 ?
I guess it would be a lot of difference right ?

SLI is enabled through your drivers, i don't know if it has any benefits with GSdx/PCSX2.
i think i've seen people have problems with crossfire and gsdx before (but this was along time ago).

you should try doing some comparisons between enabling SLI and disabling SLI with pcsx2. (enable/disable through your drivers).

i've never used it, so i don't know exactly how it works though Tongue2
but i'm pretty certain if you have it turned on, then it'll be enabled for any Direct X hardware accelerated game (this includes pcsx2 since the GS plugins use Direct X)
