Does PCSX2 work with Windows 7

does pcsx2 work with the very new Windows 7 Beta avaialbe from microsoft.com.

when i run it it says to update my DirectX, but i have the latest that came with the OS version 10.

so what's the prognosis? does it work or not? has anyone been able to run pcsx2 0.9.6 on windows 7?
