#1
I've been playing the ps2 remake of Dragon Quest V for about 6/7 hours and everything works fine.
However, I am almost at the end of the first chapter and the game freezes at this spot:

Has anybody else experienced this issue?

Savestates save EVERYTHING(they are a dump of memory, registers, etc). If there is any glitch in your game, they will save that too.

Memory cards only save the data the game wants to save. Like items you have, where you are, what you've done, etc.

So that's why he suggested that, and that's why it works.

Glad you got it sorted out.

Yeah, unfortunately, save states can be unstable in many circumstances Tongue
