that bulldozer is driving slow. ;P

But I think that NFS MW for PS2 with that CPU is completely unplayable...and so? We are not talking about PC games, you are OT.

Are you using SWmode or HWmode !!

I don't know if coders know of this , but theres something going on with the GSdx functionality in this game ..

like i have 7 - 8 fps in some parts of the game Blink !!!

And i think it has nothing to do with the VU/EE settings (read on why) !!

when i start to use HWhack and use skipdraw ... then i gain 100% fullspeed again ...

but doing that results in another problem... driving on rainy day's goes paired with fogg and lots of it !!

Here's a screenie and pay attention to the full fps with speedhack at default!

And now a screenie without skipdraw, again speedhack default..

One remarkable thing to mention is that when using SWmode i have NO graphical glitches anymore BUT... Fps is like between 20 - 30 fps and that is with EE = 2 / VU = 2 !!!

Also important to mention is that when in SWmode my GS% raises still above 80%Blink

All caps and test were done at Native resolution though (no upscaling) !!

Screenie ↓

Now, just when i got fullspeed back by using the hack i have that fog thing !!
But i found an way to get rid fo that fog screen too... but that resulted in YET another problemm !!!

so its an never ending story here !!!

Now, because this game is listed since pcsx2 0.96 as "playable" i'll try different gpu drivers myself to see if i can get rid of those glitches !!

I played just a few minutes (hardware mode), so I didn't noticed this problems. Anyway if a game is listed as playable doesn't mean that will work at full fps or without graphical bugs, but just that is possible to play it to the end.

Anyway did you tried using a different DX capable plugin (if you are using the DX11 switch to DX9 or the reverse)? Tried setting skipdraw in the GSDX setting?

Yep , have tried lots of combinations .. also DX9 SW & HWmode !!

Still the same, and on top of that DX9 HWmode performs bad = < FPS !!

Currently DL some gpu drivers , ranging from old → latestbeta which is 12.11a for ati currently to do an testdrive Biggrin

Wait a moment! Your screen are not Most Wanted, you are playing Underground 2 right?
So it's a different story...I tried Most Wanted, and from what I saw works well, for Underground 2 I don't know...

Yeah, game is NFS UG2 alright.. and is "playable" Glare ..

Although the game is "playable" , nobody in his right mind will playthrough a game while staring at an huge white wall or a screen full of fireworks all the time !!!

Like this game isnt challenging enough Laugh !!

Anyway, have tried different drivers from latest Beta back to 12.8 and still no improvement !!!

Will try another build... but my gutfeeling tells me this will not getting me anywhere Huh !!

Oh well.... 1 for the Bug list i guess !!
