Try making it an ISO, I noticed on my computer when running from the DVD drive the games always run slower than they should.

I good tool to make ISOs is imgburn (it's 100% free too)
and use the iso plugin, you shouldn't have any trouble with that. some cDVD drives just don't like PS2 discs

That was fast..
Anyway, we can't help you much with that little info.
It's obviously a problem on your pc and/or configuration.

Since you're not giving very helpful descriptions I recommend you play on your ps2.

I know a few things you could try, but with a 2.6 dual core, don't expect much.

try using this plugin set (31.01.2009 is JUST gsdx) see if you have the same issue with speed (this one works fine for me. it's unofficial however, but the zip for 0.1.14 is corrupted when I try to use it, don't use the playgroung EXE though)

also try the attachments here: http://forums.pcsx2.net/thread-2731.html (these are the official ones)

sound will always be messed up, untill every game is 60/60 (or 50/50 for PAL gamers) fps. there is little you are going to be able to do about that. and like I said in the begining, don't expect much of a 2.6 dual core pc with those games. try something like dot/hack you'll get max speed most likely, but the ones you have listed, they are intensive and will NOT go near full speed yet.

it is possible that if you get more ram it will go faster, but I can't say that for sure.

Maybe it's better to dump this whole PCSX thing and play my games on the real playstation 2, until the PCSX project is really stable. Tongue2
