External Hardrive issues
#1
I have an old hardrive. I have 15gb/250gb on the thing but for some reason, when I browse though my hardrive, nothing is there.

What is the issue here? I never dropped it or it never overheated (at least not that I know of).

If you mean that 15GB has been used up then a lot of the HD manufacturers have software installed onto it that cannot be seen.

If you mean theres only 15GB left maybe the pin has a problem moving to the rest of the hardisk, it may physically be stuck on just the outer/inner edges or something. Could be anything really.

If it's old and no warranty you could take it apart n have a look, the problem is noticeable half the time with external HDs.
