FF 12
#1
this is my laptop spec:
intel core 2 duo 2GHz
3GB ram
intel 4 series express chipset family
directx10

my pcsx2 config:
when i tried using the gsdx sse41 with directx10(hardware), the movie run smoothly but when the game started, my monitor goes blank and blink like 2-3times and the laptop restarted. it says driver fails.

so i tried using gsdx sse2 with directx9(hardware). the movie run smoothly too, but when the game started, it becomes really slow. the graphic is ok but it just looked like a slow motion game with slow movement&voice.

please help how to make the game runs faster Dx

urgh im just using normal acer laptop
with intel graphics

but all the pc games i played look just nice
and fast too
does it mean ff12 need a graphic card like nvidia/ati to play?
but this is weird
i dont think the graphic would be that too much different from other games?
ive tried games like heroes of might and magic 5, dreamfall the longest journey, nfs undercover, etc2
all of them worked pretty well
why not ff12?

As shadow lady said :

You need quite a powerful GPU to play FF12 correctly.
Comparing pcsx2 to usual pc games is just a full nonsense.
CPU : I7 2600K Oc'ed @ 4.2Ghz
Mobo : Intel P67 southbridge
GPU : NVIDIA Geforce GTX 750 Ti
RAM : 6 Go

Dude... PC =/= PS2. These are fundamentally different platforms. Apples to oranges.

I'd like to add that even with a very powerful machine, some games might still be slow because they're not properly emulated yet — which goes back to Kutaragi's will to let the game developers discover what they could do with the code by themselves. It goes without saying that in comparison to that powerful computer, a weak laptop will only perform worse.
