nope it's still very slow playing, the sound plays well, but the visuals are slow. like trying to get a character to walk around is slow.

If I edit the sound options I think i might play faster but then the audio becomes choppy and messed a little.

Hmm it's possible that you also have an integrated Intel GPU and the emulator is using that and not your Nvidia 420M.

Check that this isn't the case Blink

Well that's me a bit confounded. How are your temperatures? Maybe your being throttled?

Also, check the 'processes' tab of your Task Manager to see if any other programs are using CPU %. As in the middle column under 'CPU'.

Ignore the red circle:

If there's a program hogging CPU usage it will constantly not be resting at '00'

No my computer gets hot easy, but when I play Pcsx2 the laptop stay cool.

both, I have my copy FFX and my sisters copy of FFX-2

I had a problem with the FFX-2 cut-Scenes, the picture was dark, but i found out about the F9 from these forums. but like others i had a problem with the audo when i did that. so I i played around trying to get the game to run normal.

FFX is just laggy though, I have to wait 5 minutes for the intro then when I press new game i have to watch the intro all over again and FFX is also breaking on me after a little ways in game.

at this moment in time skype is the only thing doing anything at 0.1 in the task manger

did you make an iso out of your disc ?
because it looks like you are running directly from the PS2 DVD ?
