Big Grin
So, i've been wanting to play FF XII IZJS for sometime now
i used the latest 1.2.1 version
my laptop specs are :

INtel core i7 2670qm 2.2gHz
memory 4 gb
nvidia deforce GT 540M 1GB

i was wondering whats the best specs to play the game?

i seem to experience laggy gameplay
and buggy sound

Your GPU and CPU( i have the same 1) are a bit weak.
I suggest setting EE Cyclerate to 1, maybe go native too
Msi GF-62VR
Intel  core i7 7700hq @2.8(3.5ghz turbo) Nvidia 6gig GTX1060 16 gigs DDr5   windows 10

I have settings that will most likely work in my sig, but that CPU is best to be used in SW mode. I have a thread about the i7 as well

okay, i changed renderer to 3d11 (software)
i honestly dont know if the gameplay got better or not

cause by before in hardware, i can still play but at times gameplay is a bit laggy and has a buggy and sometimes slow audio

and now, those problems still exist

If your going to use software rendering, make sure to set the rendering threads to 4 or 5. I do and dont get slowdowns in that game. Having said that i dont get slowdowns using hardware rendering either
