FFX-2

Is there a fix for FFX-2 videos? they work perfectly but they have some weird mesh over them. Also is it possible to stretch image of games that dont have widescreen support to lets say 16:7 instead of 16:9, because it really doesnt look bad when stretched to 16:9 format but if there was a way to stretch it a bit less it would look perfect and would fill most of the screen.

Have you tried setting the aspect ratio in your GS Window Settings?
Also, in game fixes section of the emulation settings there is a tick box for FFX video graphics fix. Try that since FFX and X-2 are basically the same game it should help.

Yes i tried setting aspect ratio to 16:9 and it stretches the image too much, what i was asking if its possible to stretch image less than 16:9, make custom aspect ration like 16:7 that would look better and fill most of the screen, in full screen mode not windowed.

And FFX videos fix DOES NOT fix FFX-2 videos

You can make a custom window size and select the "fit to window" aspect ratio, but that will only work for windowed playing obviously, in case you can can create custom fullscreen resolutions with your graphics card/monitor with help of the graphic driver's control panel that could be used for fullscreen too Tongue2

FFX video fix does nothing for me.Videos in FFX-2 plays fine but its got weird rectangle mesh over it, and FFX fix does not help to solve that. Is there any other way to fix this problem besides FFX fix?

Is it actually possible to make custom fullscreen resolution for pcsx2 with ATI Catalyst 10.10, and im using ATI HD 5770 Crossfire. I can make custom resolutions obviously but that will change resolution of desktop and therefore everything else. I dont think its possible to make custom resolution for selected program (pcsx2), but if anyone knows how let me know.Pcsx2 does run faster in fullscreen, i havent tested how ffx-2 runs windowed on my pc but it should be able to handle it, thanks for suggestion shadowlady.

not with the ati program. theres a free app that lets you set custom full screen resolutions for individual programs. it's called 1stquickres. I'm not sure if it works in vista or windows 7 but a quick google search can get you their homepage and other applications that can do the same thing.

Now that I thought about it, I am not sure that this program is what you need, it looks like it just changes the desktop resolution or the window resolution for the programs that you set.
