FFX Audio Trouble
#1
I got FFX to play pretty well on Toshiba Laptop 60 FPS most of the time, but when I get to the part where Sin attacks the city (in the very beginning) and u get into ur first battle the audio goes crazy and gets all high pitched and sounding like bells and whistles lols (not funny but cant help laughing).

Any suggestions? Tried playing around with plugins. Im running the 0.9.7 beta.
All help greatly appreciated Smile

Maybe the EE cyclerate is a bit abused? Smile
Seriously now, actually may be it really.

Ill try that lol.
Alas, turning off ee cycling and/or all speed hacks does nothing for those piercing noises.

It's just some sound effects and the music. The voices are just fine.

Try using the new SPU2-X build from the plugin update pack.

Thx! Now the audio is much better, but still a bit choppy. Also, my games running a bit slower now.

try changing teh sound setting to linear/cubic, and reduce the latency a bit.

Sound is much better, but i think those new graphic plugins boned my graphics? Lower fps, The night sky has large portions missing or miscolored (not sure if this was happening before but the other stuff wasn't), and Tidus gets stuck graphically on one part.
