FFX Emulation speed

Just wonderin if any are gettin the normal game speed of the game,My game lags 1-3 secs from the sound if I judge right. But not always,sometimes i get 100% (btw how do u see whats your fps?Tongue Haven't used pcsx2 in a long time Tongue) the only change I made in the config is puttin resolution at 1024x768 (GSdx 890 (MSVC 15.00 SSE2) 0.1.14 Plugin)

btw really nice improvements,I couldnt play the game since last time I used pcsx2 and now its just a bit sluggish Laugh keep up the good work ;P

yes, someone can reach normal game speed °with a 3.8 oced cpu°
Fps are shown by the gfx plugin, i don't remember which but one shows itself the fps and the other you need to press some keys.

My computer is currently not overclocked and is set to 3.0 ghz.
I get at the lowest a speed of 55 frames per second and a high of 115 in some areas, it averages out most of the time at about 80 fps with the limiter off.

Just wondering,does it matter that I have a quad core? or does pcsx2 uses up to two cpus?

pcsx2 will use two cores imo.

Pcsx2 only uses 2 cores, period XD
