FFX Freezing with Rikku in Desert

Hello,

I've run into a freezing problem with FFX; as I'm collecting my team members from the desert, I find Rikku as soon as I run into the next battle Rikku says, "Let me take care of the machina..." The game freezes but the audio continues, and I'm stuck. My specs are:

Bootcamped iMac running Windows 8
PCSX2 ver. 1.4.0
Intel i5 2.8 ghz qua core
8 GB RAM
Radeon HD 5670 graphics card
ISO file

All settings had been on default, and game was running perfectly up until this moment. Any help is greatly appreciated!

Please post the contents of the emulog.txt file after the problem occurs. The file can be found in "My Documents\PCSX2\logs" for the installer version or in "PCSX2\logs" for the portable/binary version.
