FFX NTSC crash help please
#1
I always crash at a specific point and I'm trying to figure out why.

it says DMA error 2ddcd2f1
ipu1dma NULL!

I posted Screen shot in attachment.

it happens with the latest beta as well as PCSX20.9.7.PS2emu.rev2614

Wonder if re ripping the iso would fix it?

Hmm...just went over to check the SVN commits...I think 2802 has something that fixes IPU1DMA-related problem.
But I'd try re-ripping the game first, though, since at that point of the game I didn't have any error whatsoever using pre-2802 pre-alpha revisions.
Intel C2D E6550 2.33GHz (OC@2.8GHz)
Corsair CM2X1024 4GB (4x1GB) DDR2 DRAM
ASUS P5K
XFX Radeon HD 5770 1GB

Running on Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit.

Sometimes I (or most of us here) wish there'd be more sensible PCSX2 users like you. =b

Thanks alot for the good reply and help. Your advice fixed the problem.

I can't believe how far this project has come. I haven't played since 0.9.4 or something like that. I really appreciate all the development that's going on with this project.
