smelly22 yes, certain effects strain the GPU way more than the rest and this is one of them
My 9600gt runs them perfectly, I mean they slow down but to like 55fps only when using 1536x1536 resolution (the one I use normally), if I use native or the default 1024x1024 internal res it doesnt slow down at all. In 7600gt it did slowdown with the default resolution but on native barely noticeable slowdown but then again it was a longtime since I tried those spells with the 7600gt and it was with older GSdx which I suppose would be slower with it
