There's no official 0.9.7 release, use google or compile the SVN yourself:

Check the in-game settings. Maybe you have enabled interlaced mode somewhere. It is clearly scanlines being drawn in the interlaced mode, not progressive.

Sorry, i dont understand. There are no in-game settings for interlacing in ffx.
Interlacing in pcsx2 is disabled.

It seems, that my problem has something to do with interlacing. http://www.borisfx.com/tutorials/deinterlace.php looks very familiar or http://www.doom9.org/index.html?/video-basics.htm. But how can i fix that?

Bositman said it before, try changing the interlace modes with F5 while playing or select them in the plugin settings.

I already did that. Some modes amplify the "stripe error" or generate the error even in gameplay while playing.

try making an iso of the dvd. if iso creation fails it means that your dvd isnt readable anymore or the data has been damaged. if everything goes well and u can create the iso use it with linuz iso plugin and tell us again

but where i can get 0.9.7 ?

You can download it from the svn, but you have to compile it by yourself. As Bositman said "0.9.7 is in ALPHA STAGES. Don't want to get bugs and get support here? Use 0.9.6 or beta 1888. Period"

hi again,
I tried several settings again the last days. It seems the stripe error disappears when playing in native resolution. But in return the remaining game looks terrible because of the low resolution.

..it seems you have been joking around with us or what?

Quote:D3D internal res: 1024x1024 (same problem in native)

*sigh*

You can switch back to whatever resolution you like after the video is over.
