FFX sound issues ?

Hi ive just started playing ffx and its perfect apart from a couple of things to do with the sound.

1.the background music is faster than it should be.
2.when i pause the game the background musci speeds up about 10x !!

im using 0.9.6 and my specs are :

e7400 intel core duo precessor
4gb ddr3
1tb hdd
hd4350 512mb GC
2.8ghz.

and btw i play the game at about 60-100 fps usually so it runs very smooth

of course it's faster, if you play the game at more than 60fps. use F4 to set your frame limiter to "limit" or change the frame limiter settings under "config->cpu".

would upgrading to the beta be a good move also ??

yes. especially with ffx, as there are some known crash issues at the djose temple and al bhed home, that were fixed in the betas.

ok mate thanks for all the help, i now realise lol.
at one point the fps was around 300 lol
