FFX stuck
#1
System setup:

OS: Windows Vista 32bit
Intel Core2 Duo CPU T7300 @2.00GHz
CPU speed = 1.996 GHz
GPU = NVidia 8600m GT
Forceware version 186.81

Running PCSX2 0.9.6
Savestate version: 8b40004

The program seems to crash a little bit after you kill Seymour. I'm not sure if he actually died since that's where it gets stuck =P. Can anyone help? =)

talk about a brute force method...I pummelled my way through where you get stuck at. Still using 0.9.6 ...but with some new components from the beta version....the beta kind of has a ton of glitches with memory cards and so on...it can't seem to find the GS plugin too...even when I put it into the folder where it specified that it was looking for it.

....stuck again. This time at the home in Al Bhed ...<.< when they're being attacked and you enter the scene where they're holding the summoners...

-_-; I don't get why it's getting stuck at that particular spot...it runs smoothly right before...and then, WAM...you're stuck. I guess I'll try tweaking the beta so that it'll work on my comp, but the beta seems to be giving me errors so I don't know.....perhaps actually burning a dvd instead of running daemon may help a little.

Any suggestions?

Yeah try the beta for those freezes :P

What errors do you get with the beta? You need to update your DirectX and get the VC++ redistributable that should have come with the installer.

well, I have the latest version of DirectX 10, and the main problem with the beta seems to be that it can't seem to open the .ps2 memory card files. I don't quite know why that is. I inserted the old .ps2 files into the directory that it was trying to read from.

Except if you mean something else by 'open the .ps2 memory card files'...

hmm...the beta seems to not save configuration settings.... every time I reopen it, it either reverts back or complains that the GS plugin is null.... <.< then I tried to put in the init files from an older version...it keeps the setting but it complains that it's from an older version lol...that's a no duh...but why isn't it saving it's own configurations XD.
