FFX: the chocobo eater

Hi,
is the "chocobo eater" monster in every version of FFX?
I could have sworn i didn't see him in the PAL release, but he's there in the JAP release.

Maybe it's just my memory.... maybe

Jest there is a "chocobo eater" in pal version i got him in monster arene.An i kill one some where in the game line i don't remember where but he is some where

A the end of Mi'ihen Highroad I've encountered the "chocobo eater" for first time in pal french version.
Then he is available on monster arene.

Yep, the chocobo eater is in every version of FFX.

original japanese version and american version of FFX are identical in content
the european(pal) versions all have the extra content of FFX international
so there isn't less there is actually more (dark aeons/penance for example)

on another note the chocobo eater is a boss monster so NO, IT CAN'T be spawned in the monster arena
however there is a "original creation" in the monster arena that looks identical to it called earth eater
you get it if you have two area creations !!!

Edit: here is a link to the differences between pal and ntsc (int/norm)
i can only suggest if you don't already own FFX and like it go buy a pal version! as pcsx2 fully supports it
