FFXII/FFXII IZJS Editor - rich SaveGame/Memory Editor for FF XII (+IZJS)

I'm wondering how the Game Progress System is arranged in FFX.

FFX uses a 16-bit integer to store the game progress (I called it "Storyline Position"). There are also two other variables: one for which room you are in (world location) and one to indicate which spawn point you will appear at (room position). Did you find similar variables in FFXII?

You can look here for examples of how these values map to parts of the game:

The Game Progress variable works a little different in FFXII. Here is an example of how it works:
Code:
Game Progress Variable =
...
105 - after Vayne's ceremony.
120 - after talking to Old Dalan about "sneaking into palace".
125 - after talking to Masyua in the village in Giza Plains.
130 - after talking to Penelo.
140 - after Penelo has joined the party.
145 - after Talking to Jinn.
...
...
...

About the room and spawn point, it's a good idea. Smile
I'll look for them later. First, I have to find Giza Plain's sunny/rainy season state.

Isn't that just based off the game time?

Yeah, it is. But I still hope there is a variable that can be used to switch between seasons regardless of the game time.

btw. is that you aka TheDevek at gamefaqs/gamespot? Smile

Hi,
It works fine with french patched version of the game.
Very usefull to change job or équip two weapons.
I've never understand why hunter can't use two weapons.
Is there a way to change some items?
I'm interested in giving bonus to full hi equipement:
Wear all Genji give escape, haste and more combos and
all master armors give protect shell and courage...
I think modifications must be in game and certainly need more than a save editor but do you think it's possible?

It's just because the game developers have not provided this feature. Only Larsa and Reddas can use two swords, one for attack and another one for block.

Yeah, I believe it is possible to change item properties, but definitely not through a save file. Try to look for AR, CodeBreaker, GameShark codes or .pnatch files, maybe you'll find what you need...

Also, note that the editor allows you to give your character some extra abilities like "Parry" (evade physical attacks), higher combo rate and more (see Natural Effects form in the editor), but these effects will work regardless of your characters equipment...
and for Protect, Shell, Bravery etc... use Permanent or Temporary status effect editors, you can edit an effect duration, so it will last weeks or even months, see the readme file for more detailed information.

Hi, i was wondering. If I give a natural effect like Genji Glove to a character and equip the item(Genji Glove here) on that same character, does the effect stack? Would i get even more chance to combo with both the effect and the gloves equipped?
