FFXII IZJS - Can it run faster?
#1
Hello everybody i'm new to the PCSX2 forum and I might not put this in the right thread but anyway.....

I have been able to run IZJS at 50-60 fps but still get lag spikes or randomly slower than usual. I was wondering if I will be able to make IZJS run at least at 60 fps average fps.

Specs of PC and PCSX2
-----------------------------
PCSX2 version - 1.2.1

Everything is default settings

PC Specs -

Intel Core i3-4030U 1.90 GHz
4GB
Intel HD Graphics 4400
(I'm using a laptop so..)

For the Plugin video settings
-----------------------------------
Adapter - Default Hardware Device (Seems to work the best)
Renderer - Direct3D11 (Hardware)
Interlacing - None
Original PS2 Res is Native
Enable Shade Boost is unchecked
FXAA and FX Shader are unchecked
Texture Filtering is Checked (With box)
8-Bit Textures are checked
HW Hacks Unchecked
Anisotropic Filtering is unchecked
Extra rendering threads - 0
Edge anti-aliasing is unchecked

I just wanted to know if I could get better fps with my laptop's specs.

Honestly, I'm impressed you're pulling it off with that system at 50 fps..

It's going to come to PC in the nearish future, I'd hold off.

The problem with laptops is that with games like that, unless they have a good cooling system, they tend to overheat. The lag or low FPS spikes could be because of that.
