FFXII - cg's running with swaps and fps is sux for my confg

the problem its the cutscenes (cgs) and the fps..
need 40 - 45 to play well.. =/

what i doing wrong ?

pc confg:
amd atlhon x2 6000+
2 gb ram
8600GT 256 MB
xp sp3 (only vista styles..)

Nothing, your cpu is not good for pcsx2.
Try a few speedhacks, set vu clamping to "none", overclock your cpu.

Remember: max OC is 3.3 ghz(rarely stable) depends on your cpu. Every cpu is a lil bit different.

Cottonvibes tested this scene with his athlon x2. Same bad results.
Dunno what your friend has enabled, so ask him to give you his settings Smile

On the screen with 30 fps your GSDX shows 99% cpu load, while on the screen with 60 it shows 79... the problem is certainly with your gpu

Select pixel shader 3 and disable texture filtering. Other than that,nothing you can do.

get passed that tutoral mission and then see how it goes. (I got freakin 7FPS on it! but after passing it, I have 30+ )

yea, it's fine by me. it's not a fast-paced game, so low FPS doesn't bother me.
