Look Here, I'm a HUGE fan of Fatal Frame series. I played the 4th one first, it was awesome so I played 1st, 2nd is said to be the scariest of series(I haven't played it) and I haven't played the 3rd but have seen my bro playing it. And also this 28th June, the remake of 2nd is coming for Wii(Its not a port, they remade the models and everything, new areas, new endings and a new brand new mode called "Haunted House Mode", search on google or join Fatal Frame forums for more info)

This series has something unique, it gets u totally immersed in it, the atmosphere itself is scary. And if u ask Horror fans its the best of all in Horror Genre. I really recommend playing it.

Actually the 4th one is just not a Wii exclusive but its just released in Japan. But the fans made a great effort and they made a English Patch for the game. So if you get a Wii in future, you have to get an imported copy.

The 3rd one related to 1st I think, 'cause I've seen the 1st one's main character 'Miku' in that, she's also playable.

And you know the tagline of 1st FF is 'Based On A True Story', I don't know about the story but the Himuro Mansion is real. (the main place where u spend the whole time in 1st one)

Well I'm not 100% sure but if u google 'Himuro Mansion' you'll find pictures of it which are totally like the one in game.
-----------------
And here some weird experience, last yr I played these FF games for 1 month with headphones alone in a dark room, I also didn't go out of home, not even 1 time. So the game probably had some effect on my mind and it played with my imagination and for 1-2 weeks I started seeing long haired asian ghost girls, not really just like a flash like 1-2 secs, they were just my imagination. And I got so damn scared that I was unable to sleep

So my advice is don't do what I did, lol.
