@digitaldude : your problem more to cpu, 2.4ghz isnt enough for FFX11 game, at. Least to 3ghz c2d/c2q is needed to play this game in good speed. Pcsx2 more cpu dependant but need good grapich card to (support directx.10 and ps.3/above). For your gpu 2400xt, that is first generation gpu to support directx.10 and ps.3 (if iam not wrong) equal to nvidia 74xx/75xx series so that is not to compare for nvidia 8xxx series (those comparable to HD.3Xxx series). I have ATI HD.3870 as far as i know and have experience in playing games with pcsx2 emulation. I dont have single issue for gsdx plugin and in vista/directx.10 give me more fps rather than Xp. Moreover for example i play well grandia extreme game with pcsx2 which this game already reported have bad flickers with nvidia card. But for upgrade your gpu, please choose with gpu (nvidia or ATI) which more suitable for you, at least support directx.10 and ps.4 and have more features.

2400 XT is a bit weak too.

Try setting graphic plugin at native resolution (eg., 512 x 512 or even 256 x 256) to make it faster.

I use a 2.2 (usually clocked to 2.4) and get about 35fps, that's playable. dx10 made for Pixel shaders 4, and the nvidia 8series first covered that, so if it's dx10 compatable it's PS4 compatable.

Disable VSync, Blend Tff, set EE and VU to Normal instead of Extra+Preserve Sign.

The problem is when EE and VU set to normal, the opening freeze after a little time :s

But i disable Vsync and blend Tff and nothing change :'(
I try many different configuration and the most import is to set VU and EE to Extra+preserve sign to disable freezing on opening :s
I have 41-46 fps even in small resolution :s

But really Thx to reply Laugh
