Final Fantasy X

I'm trying to run FFX on my laptop but I drop from 60 to 40 fps whenever there are a lot of character models on my screen. I was wondering if there is any way I can optimize my settings to fix this. I am currently using the default plugin settings.

My Specs:
Graphics: Intel HD Graphics 4000
RAM: 8GB
Processor: Intel Core i7 - 3632QM CPU @ 2.20 GHz, quad core

you could try enabling the MTVU speedhack, that helps quite a bit on FFX
