If you have a powerful enough CPU.

if you can run FFX with no problem then u can run FFX-2 well.. FF series are really cpu and GPU eater.. so u need at least 3.5ghz to play it at full speed using native resolution and must have 1gig of video card ddr2 128bit to be exact... modern cards like ddr3 and above will do better

FF are fairly light games actually.
And no being able to run FFX does not meen you can run FFX-2 fine.
FFX runs fine on a 1.8 dual core with speedhacks. (possibly even lower)
FFX-2 should run fine on a 2.2~2.4ghz dual core with speedhacks. (about as heavy as FFXII)

afair changing to software mode on the fly also works. what f-key was that again? i forgot.
edit: F9 switches on the fly between hardware- and softwaremode.
so if you want to see the fmvs without flickering change to softwaremode temporarly
Intel 486 DX33 33Mhz
8MB EDO Ram
S3 Graphics Trio64V+
Windows 95
Running MGS3 Snake Eater fully playable @ 0.05 fps
