Final Fantasy X-2 Crashes At New Game Cinematic
#1
I was expecting some issue with the FMVs, but I wasn't expecting them to crash PCSX2 Sad

A couple of seconds after selecting "New Game" the PCSX2 windows fade to indicate they've stopped responding and then I get the "pcsx2-r3878.exe has stopped working" error box.

All CPU options set to default, same issue with all Hardware and Software GSdx modes and ZeroGS too.

Looks like a DVD disc / iso image problem. Just to be sure, make an ISO using imgburn. Then:
Dismount the ISO from any program like daemon tools etc. Then CDVD->Choose ISO, then ISO selector->Browse, find your ISO and System->Boot CD/DVD (fast)

The game works fine in my PS2, but I will make an image like you suggest and let you know how I get on.
