Final Fantasy X Problems
#1
Hello all, first off I'd just like to say that I'm new to pcsx2 and am having quite a bit of trouble so please bear with me if I dont get something straight away.

Now down to business, I am having quite a bit of trouble getting FFX to work at a decent FPS and its driving me up the wall as I would love to play this game again.

My PC specs are as followed:

CPU: Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 @ 2.40ghz
OS: Windows Vista 32 bit Service Pack 2
RAM: 3GB
Graphics Card: Sapphire Radeon HD 5850 1GB GDDR5

Uhh not sure if anything else is really needed so let me know if there is.

For my pcsx2 settings are:

Graphics: GDSx 4600 0.1.16 [sse3-r-4600], Direct3D11 (Hardware)
interlacing, blend bff, custom resolution 1080x1080, Texture Filtering

Sound: P.E.Op.S SPU2 1.9.0
CDVD: Linuz Iso 0.9.0
The rest are default

Speed Hacks: EE =2 VU =2
Enable INTC Spin Detection
Enable Wait Loop Detection
mvu flag hack
mvu block hack

Thank you anyone who takes the time to help I really wanna get this game working damnit!. Thanks

What do the EE and GS percentages display at the top of the window when you get the slowdowns?
Also, better use the latest SVN build and check the MTVU speed hack to take advantage of an extra core of your quad core: http://pcsx2.net/svn.php
