Hello everyone, I'm new to the forums although I've used these before for my PCSX2 problems, but I just joined because I have something to ask.
First off, I got a computer from one of my family members. I cleaned it out and tried to use PCSX2 on it.
These are the specs:
Windows Vista Home Premium (6.0, Build 6001)
AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core Processor 4400+ (2 CPUs), ~2.3Ghz
1790MB RAM
DirectX 10
Graphics card:
NVIDIA GeForce 6150SE nForce 430
I ran Final Fantasy X on it, but the intro movie was between 25-35 FPS
The gameplay itself is 25-35 FPS
The cutscene movies are perfect
Basically, it's too slow to play comfortably.
My question is: Are these specs/graphic card enough to use PCSX2 with Final Fantasy X?
Other question: Although I have DirectX10 on this computer, I can only use the GSdx 890 (MSVC 15.00, SSE2) 0.1.14, none of the other plugins work.
And with that plugin I can only use Direct3D9.
When I try to use Direct3D10 is crashes and says "The GS plugin failed to open/initialize."
