Also, the undub version could be based on a buggy build of the game to begin with.

no, because I already played it on a real ps2, with no problems. Only problem was, my laser sucks and won't read the outer edge of dvd's and I am waiting for the laser part from hong kong and it is taking FOREVER, and I can't get past the part with sin attacking the docks, it will freeze because it can't load the FMV

I'm just passed Bevelle and this glitch has only occured 3 times and when it does it makes no real difference.

I don't really see the big deal unless it's happening in every one of your fights.

pre-emptive attacks provide advantages ingame, the "lookign backwards" if it only happens SOMETIMES is completely intentional

It's easy to see it's not intentional.

yes but pre-emptive strikes do happen at random, they have happend in almost all FF games, and when it does enemies are backwards, it supposed to happen from time to time, if happen like ever other fight its another story and modifying iso crc change and what fixed might been there are no long applied

The issue Masternoxx is talking about is not one that is intentional, all your characters move towards the enemy backwards and attack backwards as well.

IIRC it was(or i guess is) a clamping issue and setting EE clamping to full (as you have noted) will solve the issue.

if you don't want to set it to full in case of slow downs, I've played and beaten the game with an AMD Phenom II 965BE @ 4.0ghz with EE set to full without any slowdowns (short of those in the Mi'ihen Highroad that can be solved by ticking 8-bit textures in the GSDX options. Note i had a weak machine at the time.)

P.S: i would recommend you grab the Steam Remaster and use this mod here to undub the game: http://steamcommunity.com/groups/Special...064718432/

You can also improve the textures (and fix a few ugly ones...) using mods on the Nexus.

That is correct they are scripted effect, not random encounters

for example when Rikku fights with you first time, it will happen every time
also it happened before that on the fish eater boss tidus will be facing wrong way
and before that too

the steam remaster well I will think about that it is like 32 gigs
