Final Fantasy X help!
#1
I'm running a 2012 MacBook pro running:
2.6GHz quad-core Intel Core i7
Turbo Boost up to 3.6GHz
8GB RAM
Intel HD Graphics 4000
NVIDIA GeForce GT 650M with 1GB RAM

I'm trying to play Final Fantasy X, I can make it through first opening Blitzball cinematic, but after when the screen turns white and the FPS stops changing and the game freezes. Has anyone had this problem and fixed it? Or someone know a fix to this?
And I have tried multiple .ISO files, and all of them do this.

Afaik, ffx is known to work on the mac port.
i believe you didnt use the right command line to make your iso.
How did you do it, exactly ?

Actually, I believe that is a known bug, you may need a savestate to get past the intro but the game is fully playable

On second thought... your computer might be powerful enough to use this port: http://portingteam.com/files/file/7182-pcsx2-svn/ It's one of the latest pcsx2 SVN's wrapped with a wineskin wrapper.

I haven't tried it yet but if it works, it's a lot easier than getting a savestate to your computer.
