You'll get horrible framerates on the laptop and catastrophic ones on the desktop.

coz the laptop have an i5 560m it's a 5 years old cpu so the onboard graphics (igpu) is properly very old evan older than hd graphics 3000 which is horrible
the desktop have nvidia 9800 and not that bad

Since the OP asked about FFXII, it's irrelevant.

I'm my laptop with those settings i play FFXII in 30/60 fps (it depends of the location, the animation, etc.)

I know it's and old laptop but i couldn't afford a better one :\ isn't there a way to get atleast 40/50 stable fps on the laptop ?

Thanks for the replys Smile

you can try to fiddle a bit with speedhacks, but you'll probably have to play it on your PS2 for now if you want an enjoyable experience, for sure.

What if instead of 4gb Ram i had 8gb Ram ? Will that change a lot my gaming experience ?
