Final Fantasy XII Missing Shadows on some Enemies (HW mode)
#1
Title says it all. I'm having this issue, and what troubles me is if that might cause other effects to be missing

Software mode:

Hadware mode:

Running on Pcsx 2 1.0.0 r5366
gsdx 10 plugin, on Direct3D11 (Hardware)/(Software)
Texture filtering, no HW Hacks.

Any way to solve that? Unsure

Try another value in Skipdraw, maybe 1, 2 or...

AMD Radeon HD 6990 OC, Accelero Twin Turbo
ASUS Crosshair V Formula 990FX
OCZ Revodrive 3 X2 240 Gb
16 Gb G.Skill 1833 MHz

Skipdraw didn't work... tried the other HW hacks, too, none seems to fix it

Skidraw wouldn't ever fix a missing anything (as the name implies, it's actually designed to skip rendering effects) and as mentioned in OP, they have all HW hacks turned off.

Unfortunately, HW mode is not perfect and certain effects just do not work and there is no real fix (beyond what hacks are already available). Some effects just do not map to directX/opengl from PS2. The only proper solution is to use software mode (as you've discovered). Thankfully in the majority of games DX rendering works fine or only missing small things like these shadows here.

That's sad =/ But I guess playing without shadows is better than playing in low res.
