Ok, so i'll write my problem too.
I start ff x, and everything is fine, looks beautiful etc, except one thing. Game starts with ~60 fpses and it's quickly become slower and slower to finally reach 35-40 fpses :/ I tried millions of plugins'es configuration including speed hack and it's still the same...

My pc is:
i7 860 (2,80 GHz)
GeForce GTX 275
4 GB Ram DDR3 Dual Channel
Windows 7 Professional x64

Maybe someone could tell me how to get normal fps rate? I include screen of my present graphic configuration

Use the latest 1888 beta if you aren't already, SPU2-X 1.4 and make an ISO image of your game to read it with Linuz ISO

seems like a heat problem to me! try to check your temperatures with a program. like everest ultimate or http://www.almico.com/sfdownload.php
and tell us
OS: Win 7 Ultimate x64 sp1, MoBo: Asus P5QD Turbo, CPU: Q6600 @ 3,0Ghz, RAM: Trancend 2x2gb 6-6-6-18 800 MHz, GPU: HD 4850 1gb.

Hmm, actually yes, temperature is quite high, above 80°C on each core, but could it be the source of my problem?:| People normally play on pcs like my...

no ppl dont play on that temps! imagine what temps u will have if u use the 100% of your cpu. if u dont change the cpu cooler to a new good one your cpu will die really sooner than what u think and u will always have problems when u use it. i suggest a cooler at around 40-50 euro at least! and even more specific i would buy if i was in your shoes that one cause its cheap also.

if u want to spend more money buy the extreme one but this is overkill!

edit: u can look here for how good they perform: http://www.guru3d.com/article/zalman-10x...a-review/6

Wow that quite high, not good for your CPU's health. If your not willing to shelf out a new cooler at least check if the heat sinks are connected properly and if the CPU Fan is functioning at all. Those are definitely not normal temps.
My PS2 Resurrected:
AMD Phenom II x4 oc 3.4ghz
GTX 560 1gb
Western Digital 300gb hdd
4gb ddr800 kingston ram
Asrock N68-S Motherboard

I am running a rather olde Gateway laptop, and trying to run FFX as best I can.

OS: Windows Vista SP2
RAM: 1.00GB
Processor: Mobile AMD Athalon 64 4000+ 2.60 GhZ
Graphics card: ATI Mobility Radeon X600

Any Suggestions on what to do to run FFX at it's best?

*smiles* Verry much a newb to this kind of thing.
