First time user need assistance (includes error log)

So, I've been trying to play Timesplitters 2 and I've searched around and cant come up with a definitive answer for my problem. I download the game but the game file is a disk image file. doesnt seem right to me. I extract with winrar. When i try and play it i get an error message. This is happend with several ps2 games ive tried playing. I have deleated everything and started over several times and i am at a standstill and not sure what to do. This is the error log i get. All help is appreciated
