Flat Screenshots with PCSX2 0.9.9.4918
#1
I am probably missing something really silly here, but since upgrading to 0.9.9.4918 all screenshots taken with F8 are now flat, as if in some kind of forced pseudo widescreen, but like super flat:

What are you using for custom resolution or scale mode in GSdx?
Edit:I just tried r4918 with your settings but no matter what I do,I always get a screenshoot with the resolution is set in GSdx

Using 3x native means that the screenshoot will be 3x the game default resolution. What it says in the game window for resolution when you play the game

PS.Using scale modes ignores anything you type in Custom Resolution

I understand that, but why would I be getting these weird flat screenshots? Surely if the custom resolution is 1024x1024 it should be a perfect square?

If you're using 3x native, whatever you put in the custom res box doesn't matter (thus grayed out, that's what vsub told you). If you want the res in the custom res boxes, select 'custom res' instead of 3x scaling

I understand what he is saying, but even if I change the custom resolution to (for example) 1024x768 the screenshots still come out at a resolution of 1024x383.

In other words, one side of the resolution changes, but the other side always stays half of what it should be

Yes but have you set it to "Custom resolution' and NOT 3x native?

Yes. I can get the 4:3 screenshot size when I double the height. So if I want to take a screenie at 800x600 resolution, I would need to enter the custom resolution as 800x1200, otherwise the screenshot is flattened as above.

Just doesn't seem right to be honest.
