For some reason, I have to go through the first time configuration wizard every time.

I have recently downloaded PCSX2, went through the first time configuration wizard, and got it to work with no problems. However, after I close it, when I run it again, it makes me go through the first time configuration wizard again, unless I run it as soon as I close it... I have no idea why this keeps happening.
Can anyone hwlp me with that?

Try uninstalling the version you have and using the binary package instead:
